Yes, you can absolutely wear your 14k solid gold piercing in the shower and while you sleep. Solid gold won't tarnish or get damaged by water. After swimming in a pool or the ocean, it's a good idea to rinse the piercing with fresh water to remove any chlorine or salt residue.
How do I know if the 6.5mm stud length is right for my helix piercing?
A 6.5mm post is the standard length for most healed cartilage piercings, including the helix, conch, and tragus. If your piercing is new and still swollen, or if you know your cartilage is on the thicker side, you may need the longer 8mm post for a comfortable fit.
