What is the Vanhess Perfect Match virtual try-on?
The Vanhess Perfect Match is a free virtual try-on tool from Vanhess Jewellery in Coquitlam, BC. You upload one photo of your ear, neck, hand or wrist. The tool reads your skin tone, undertone and features, picks the three pieces from over 1,000 in the live collection that suit you best, and shows the first one on your photo as a realistic preview. Every suggestion is a real piece you can buy, with its price and a short note on why it suits you. The matching follows the same rules our stylists use: metal colour is chosen for your undertone, the size of the piece is scaled to your features, and the style echoes what you already wear. Your photo is used only for the match and is never stored.
What jewellery suits my skin tone?
Your skin's undertone decides which metals flatter you most. Warm undertones, with a golden or peachy cast, look best in yellow gold and rose gold. Cool undertones, with a pink or bluish cast, look best in white gold, platinum and sterling silver. Neutral undertones suit both families, and rose gold flatters almost everyone because it sits between warm and cool. To find your undertone, look at the veins on your inner wrist in daylight: green veins suggest a warm undertone, blue or purple veins suggest a cool one, and a mix means neutral. Which earrings suit my face shape?
Earrings frame the face, so the best style depends on your proportions:
- Round faces suit long drops and angular designs, which add length.
- Oval faces suit almost every style, and hoops especially.
- Square jawlines soften with round hoops and curved teardrop shapes.
- Heart-shaped faces balance with styles that are wider at the bottom.
- Longer faces suit studs, small hoops and clusters, which add width.

Is the virtual jewellery try-on free?
Yes. Your first match is free with no sign-up. To see your second and third matches, we ask for your name, email and phone so a Vanhess curator can help you choose. There is no charge at any point.
Is my photo saved anywhere?
No. Your photo is used only to create your match and preview, then discarded. It is not stored on our servers.
How does the matching work?
The AI looks at your skin tone and undertone, the shape and scale of your features, and your visible style. Warm undertones usually suit yellow and rose gold, cool undertones suit white gold, silver and titanium. It then ranks our live collection for you.
What photos work best?
A clear, well-lit photo taken close to your ear, neck, hand or wrist, with the subject centred in the frame. Daylight is best. Very dark or blurry photos are declined so you are not shown a poor match.
Is the preview exactly how it will look?
The preview is a realistic AI rendering, close but not perfect. For a true feel, visit our Coquitlam showroom and try your matches in person with your curator.
