Most circle studs have stones that face forward. On this one, the stones are set around the outside edge of the ring, not on its face. It means the piercing throws light from the front, the side, and every angle in between as you turn your head.

This is a circular stud piercing made from 14k rose gold. An open ring, 8 mm across, holds ten brilliant-cut stones. Each stone is secured in its own four-prong setting, arranged evenly around the outside of the circle, like seats on a Ferris wheel. The side view shows the internally threaded post and the small, flower-shaped flat back that sits flush against your skin.
