We make this ring in your choice of solid 14K or 18K gold. The 14K option is 58.3% pure gold, which means it offers a good balance of rich colour and the hardness needed for a ring you'll wear daily. We plate the entire piece with rhodium, a hard, silvery-white metal from the platinum family. This protects the gold underneath from scratches and gives it a brighter, whiter finish. The small diamonds in the halo are set using a French pavé technique to minimize the appearance of metal prongs.
