The design flows from pure white to deep blue. At the earlobe and down the top of the loop, the flowers are all diamond. As the curve reaches the bottom, the petals switch to pear-cut blue sapphires, creating a rich colour gradient that draws the eye.

These are large, open teardrop earrings that dangle from a diamond flower stud. The loop itself is like a garland of smaller flowers. Starting from the top, you'll see clusters made of pear-shaped diamond petals. As you follow the curve down, the petals change to deep blue, pear-shaped sapphires. Tiny round diamonds are sprinkled between each flower, filling in the gaps and catching extra light.

We built these from solid 18K white gold, which is 75% pure gold. Alloying it makes it strong enough for such a detailed design. We then plate it in rhodium, which means it has a bright, silvery-white shine that won't tarnish and is generally kind to sensitive skin. The gems are all natural — dozens of pear-cut diamonds and sapphires form the flower petals, with small round diamonds adding extra sparkle. Because both sapphires and diamonds are exceptionally hard, the stones are very resistant to scratching.

These are substantial earrings, but the open teardrop design keeps them feeling airy and relatively light on the ear. They have a lot of movement when you turn your head. They’re for when you want a longer, more dramatic earring that still has a delicate, floral feel to it.
