The diamonds aren't set in a simple circle. They're arranged to create a scalloped, starburst edge around the central sapphire, giving the classic halo design more texture and life when you see it up close.

The centrepiece is an oval-cut blue sapphire, held securely by four prongs. It’s encircled by a halo of twelve small, round diamonds. The shared-prong setting creates that scalloped, almost flower-like silhouette. The entire pendant is polished to a bright, reflective finish and hangs from a simple bail on a 16-inch link chain.

We built this pendant from PT900 platinum. It’s a high-purity alloy—90% pure platinum—which means it's dense and incredibly durable. Its naturally white colour won't tarnish or fade over time. Because platinum is so pure, it's also hypoallergenic and a great choice for anyone with sensitive skin. The deep blue sapphire and all twelve surrounding diamonds are natural, not lab-created, and each one is set by hand into the platinum frame.

This is a classic sapphire halo, but scaled down. At just 8mm tall, it’s not an overwhelming piece of jewellery. It sits right at the collarbone on its 16-inch chain, making it small enough for daily wear but with enough detail from the diamonds and platinum to still be noticed.
