We made this ring from solid 18K gold, which is 75% pure gold mixed with stronger alloys for daily wear. The diamonds—both the 9.52-carat centre and the 64 accent stones—are lab-grown. This means they have the same physical and chemical properties as a mined diamond, with an average VVS clarity. The accent stones are set with a French pavé technique to let in more light. We plate the gold with rhodium, which gives it that bright white colour and adds scratch resistance.
