Most rings have a solid band. This one is different—it's made from a string of solid gold beads all fused together. We replaced just one bead, right at the front, with a single freshwater pearl that sits a little higher than the rest.
The entire band is a continuous row of small, polished gold spheres. At the very front, a single white freshwater pearl takes the place of one of the beads. It's about 4.5mm across and just a bit larger than the gold spheres next to it. Because every surface is highly polished, each individual bead catches its own little reflection of light. The inside of the ring has a comfortable, scalloped feel from the shape of the beads.
The core of this ring is solid 925 sterling silver, which makes it hypoallergenic and safe for most people. We plate it in a thick layer of 14K gold—that's 58.3% pure gold—which gives it that classic, warm yellow colour that isn't too brassy. To protect the finish, we add a clear e-coating on top. It’s a durable, transparent layer that helps guard against the scuffs and moisture of daily wear. The pearl is a genuine freshwater pearl, so each one has its own unique lustre.

The 14K gold plating will eventually show wear over years of heavy use, but we add a clear e-coating to significantly slow this process. This protective layer seals the gold, helping it resist scratches and fading from daily activities. Your ring is also covered by our 2-year warranty.
Is it safe to shower or wash my hands while wearing the Luna Pearl Ring?
Yes, you can wash your hands with it on, but we recommend taking it off before showering, swimming, or working out. Soaps and chemicals can eventually dull the lustre of the freshwater pearl and may weaken the e-coating that protects the gold plating. A quick rinse is fine.
Does the beaded band on the Luna Pearl Ring fit differently than a regular smooth band?
The beaded band fits true to standard ring sizes. While the inside has a slight scalloped texture from the beads, this doesn't affect the overall fit. If you're between sizes, we generally suggest sizing up for the most comfortable fit, especially if you plan on stacking it.
