The three sapphires in each stud aren't a uniform blue. They're a cluster of different shades, from deep navy to a lighter, almost cornflower blue. This gives them a depth you don't get from a single stone, making you want to look a little closer.

You're looking at a pair of small, heart-shaped studs. Each heart is formed from a polished 18K white gold setting that holds three round sapphires. Two sit up top, one below, with tiny beads of gold between them to keep them secure. The sapphires themselves have natural variations in their blue tones, and one stone in each earring tends to catch the light with a brighter flash. The posts are standard friction backs.

We cast these in solid 18K white gold, which is 75% pure gold mixed with white metals for strength and its bright, silvery colour. This high gold content gives them a nice, solid feel and makes them very resistant to tarnish. Which means they'll keep their shine without needing constant polishing. The stones are natural sapphires, not lab-grown, so each one has its own unique colour profile and internal character. We set them by hand in a secure shared prong setting.
