The top of this ring isn't a straight line. Instead, five halo-set sapphires create a scalloped, rolling wave across the top of your finger. It's a subtle curve that you feel as much as you see when you wear it.

Five oval-cut blue sapphires run across the top half of the ring. The centre sapphire is the largest, with the other four tapering down in size towards the sides. Each one is framed by a halo of tiny, prong-set round diamonds that catch the light from all angles. The band itself is a thin, highly polished 18K white gold, making the stones the main focus.

We made this ring from solid 18K white gold, which is 75% pure gold mixed with alloys like palladium to give it its silver-white colour and strength. This high gold content gives it a noticeable weight and a deep lustre that you don't get with 10K or 14K gold. The 49 small diamonds are natural, not lab-grown, and are individually prong-set. The five sapphires are also natural, so each will have its own unique internal character and shade of blue.

This is a good alternative to a full eternity band. You get a lot of stone coverage across the top of your finger, but the plain gold band on the bottom means it’s more comfortable for daily wear and easier to resize if you ever need to.
